The Award Ceremony for the 2019 World’s Richest Tarpon Tournament will be held at the Main Stage downtown at the Tarpon Festival at 9:00 pm. Join us in celebrating our winning Anglers and Captains! There will be live music following the ceremony to continue celebrating the 2019 Tarpon Season. See you there!
The 2019 Tarpon Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 7-8 in beautiful downtown Boca Grande. The weekend event centers around the 37th Annual World’s Richest Tarpon Tournament and the 8th Annual Boca Grande Invitational Art Festival presented by Carroll Swayze. The art festival will be held on Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm.
RSVP at www.barrierislandparkssociety.org and walk in the very footsteps of lightkeepers from the past in a 20-minute climb tour to the top of Gasparilla Island Lighthouse! Enjoy the beautiful view from 105 ft. above Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande FL! Gaze at the breathtaking 4th order Fresnel lens as volunteer lightkeepers share the fascinating history of this historic treasure! All proceeds directly support the continuing preservation of the iconic lighthouse for future generations! Fees and details vary per climb and will be included on the link for the date you sign up for! Thank you for your support to keep the light shining!

Cash Prizes awarded to first and second place.
*Entry Fee is $600.00 per boat. Field will be limited to a maximum of 25 boats. A captains signed registration form and total balance of entry fee must be paid before March 22nd, 2019.
*Cash entries only will be accepted after March 22nd, 2019.
* Payback will be 75% of total entry fees.
Prize money will be split 60% for first place, 40% for second place.
Example: Full field of 25 boats = $11,250 total prize money paid back.
First Place: $6,750

Grande Aire Services presents the Scholarship Golf Scramble Tournament as a fundraiser for our Annual Educate Boca Scholarship Fund. The tournament is hosted by The Gasparilla Inn & Club Golf Course on their one-of-a-kind waterfront golf course. This scholarship program helps aid local students in their academic endeavors.

Join us for this exciting educational program to explore the myths and facts surrounding Florida Bats, written and presented by The Bat Lady, Shari Blissett-Clark, President of Florida Bat Conservancy.
About the program:
Bats are fascinating mammals that play important roles in habitat diversity and health, but many people are afraid of them because of superstition, folklore, and misinformation. This program exposes the secret world of bats and replaces the myths with facts about the "super-powers" that bats possess. We'll explore the places that bats live, what they eat, and why bats are so important to people. We'll discuss easy ways to help bats survive and thrive in yards and neighborhoods. Florida native bats will be exhibited after the program!
