Decorate your golf cart and bring some snacks to the Community Center for a spooky evening of celebration! There will be a costume contest with prizes before the showing of Hocus Pocus at 7pm. Make sure to bring snacks and chairs to set up in your groups' individual square for a fun socially distant event!
The World's Richest Tarpon Tournament is a Grande Tradition that has marked the history of the Boca Grande fishing culture for 37 years. The Grande Tradition event is sponsored by Grande Aire Services, a company that is passionate about preserving Boca Grande's History. Join us in reflecting on the different eras of the World's Richest Tarpon Tournament with speakers from over the years. We will be honoring Capt. Jimmy Robertson for his contribution as a local legend, tournament captain, and his involvement in the Boca Grande Fishery. We hope to see you on this special evening of local island history!
The Boca Grande Community Center hosts the Boca Grande Egg Hunts! Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny! There will be three separate egg hunts starting with the 4 & under age group, the 5-7 age group, will go next and finish with the 8-11 age group. Everyone is encouraged to arrive by 9:50 am. This annual free event is one of the highlights of living in Boca Grande. It's a Spring Break tradition for families to decorate their golf carts and parade along the path. The the start of the parade is located at 5th Street, line-up is at 9:50 am and the parade starts at 10:30 am. Gas powered vehicles are not allowed on the Bike Path. The parade route ends at the Boca Grande Community Center where the Woman's Club Fair will be held starting at 11 am.
One of Boca Grande's most popular community events, the Strawberry Festival draws hundreds of bargain seekers and lovers of homemade strawberry shortcake each year. All proceeds support programs to improve the lives of women and children locally and internationally through worldwide mission programs.
