One of Boca Grande's most popular community events, the Strawberry Festival draws hundreds of bargain seekers and lovers of homemade strawberry shortcake each year. All proceeds support programs to improve the lives of women and children locally and internationally through worldwide mission programs. Grande Aire Services presents the Scholarship Golf Scramble Tournament as a fundraiser for our Annual Educate Boca Scholarship Fund.  The tournament is hosted by The Gasparilla Inn & Club Golf Course  on their one-of-a-kind waterfront golf course.  This scholarship program helps aid local students in their academic endeavors.

Please mark your calendar and make plans to join us for the 10th Annual BTT Boca Grande Event on Friday, February 1, 2019. Anglers from around the area will gather at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club beginning at 6:00 pm to catch up on BTT's work, hear a brief research/conservation update, and honor Capt. Tommy Locke for his continued support of BTT's work to enhance tarpon conservation through scientific research, habitat improvement, and clean water advocacy. Enjoy cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a program on BTT’s ongoing tarpon research and its critical importance to the future of adult tarpon populations. Silent auctions and raffles for lodge trips, guide trips, fishing gear and unique experiences, and more will round out the night.
