Gasparilla Island Lighthouse Climb!

Gasparilla Island Lighthouse 220 Gulf Blvd., Boca Grande

Learn the history of the lighthouse! Walk in the very steps of light keepers from the past! Enjoy a 20-minute climb tour to the top with a view of the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor, Boca Grande! Spaces limited RSVP at: www.barrierislandparkssociety.org. Tour prices vary and all fees support the preservation of the lighthouse! Please see fees and safety rules at sign-up. Next openings: May 5, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm & June 16, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.

BIPS Wading Adventures

Gasparilla Island State Park 880 Belcher Rd., Boca Grande

Join BIPS for our most popular educational program Wading Adventures in partnership with Florida State Parks! Learn about local habitats and environments, shells, sea grasses and marine creatures! Explore the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary with an expert Florida State Park Ranger to collect local marine life and view each through a waterproof magnifying glass!
