Friends of Boca Grande, a non-profit corporation, was formed in 1986 for the sole purpose of raising funds to support the programs and activities at the Boca Grande Community Center. The organization has since grown from a passive benefactor to an active participant by offering a multitude of cultural and educational events at the Center. An extensive renovation project was completed in 1995, which increased the usability and function of this Lee County facility. With the financial support of our community members, The Friends of Boca Grande continue to improve the facility amenities and expand its offerings to include concerts, lectures, fitness programs, and study groups for residents of Boca Grande.
